I love the way modular engines sound. The 5.0 does have a distinctive sound that everyone knows and loves though, even chevy guys.

I agree on most. Just a few who think 4.6 sounds better. Not that it doesnt sound great but the 5.0 is definitly distinctive coming around the corner.

I've had both, stock for stock 5.0 is noticably faster + parts are cheaper

2v 4.6l 99+up, and any4 valve and 3 valve4.6l are great engines. imo I love the way they sound especially the new 05 stang gt, but 5.0 are great engines non the less. If i could I would have a 07 stang GT. cant afford it. damn college!

the hp got bumped up slightly in 98 from the 96-97's they only had 215 hp, then the pi engines came out it 99
