Blown head gasket?

RE: Blown head gasket?
over heating, discoloration of oil because when oil and coolant mix at high temps they turn white. Ive also seen this happen in my cousins eclipse but in his case his oil turned coffee with milk color(brown) also sometimes you'll get foam in the radiator. anyway blown head gasket usually happens from a very bad overheating so if this happened to you before it might be the case

i dont know about how it may affect performance but i wouldent jump on the accelerator if i were you, unless you want an excuse to buy new high performance heads. cause if the gasket is blown, next would be warped heads if they arnt already warped. if they are warped you could loose compression and might even see leaks where the heads meet the block.

ok well mine didnt over heat but it just doesnt seem right and it takes off hard in first gear but when you start going threw the gears it falls flat on its face. So i was just checking to see if that might be the problem but it seems to me like i have something else.

yeah, bubbles on the dipstick. this happened once with a 427 chevy block my father was having rebuilt. apperantly they did not put the head gasket on right and there were bubbles of water on the dipstick(water does not mix with oil). Another symptom of blown head gasket could be unusually high oil pressure cause if coolant is mixing with the oil, its adding more fluid to the oil and increasing pressure.
