ok so i hear that if u have a manual transmisson then u should go with 3.73 and if u have a auto go with 4.10

i have a 89 lx 5.0 i was wander y it makes a difference between auto and manual and if i put 4.10s in a manual would lose power let me kno

Thats just considaring daily driving. A manual would suck at 3.41 bc of the high RPMs highway.

gears make no difference in power, they just change how fast you accelerate they don't add or take away power.

+1 It depends on your setup, how you use the car, etc. If its just a bolt on car that doesnt see alot of highway driving I would get 4.10's but thats just my .02. Everyone has different opinions on gears...

my 5speedcar stock motor'd with 4.10s went high 13s if that tells you anything.
