My engine use's 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart between oil changes. 1986 74,000 miles One person I talked to said it's not that uncommon for this particular motor. What do you guy's think

my 93has 87000 and it uses about the same, but its only because it leaks out of the oil pan gasket

Using oil is not normal for any car.
Theres some kind of problem causing it.

I disagree, I think all cars use alittle oil more than others if your beating the crap out of it every other day..............Atleast my trucks and cars do!

only owned 2 cars that didn't use a little a 93 buick and a 01 gt

All cars lose some oil. Some more then others. 1/2 a quart to 3/4 of a quart is nothing to worry about.
