Default my AOD has been acting up lately?

ok got a quick question. my aod has been acting up lately dont know whats wrong. the other day when i started it up after school i put it into reverse and it went no where then like 5 seconds later is grabbed and went into gear. then the other day i put it into drive and it just slipped i think and went no where. also i will like waiting at a light or a stop sign and when i take off the tranny will slip and the rpm's will go up then the tranny grabs and its fine? have no idea what this can be is it possible that my tranny could be going its got 117k on it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it is slipping. Sounds like it is time for a tranny rebuild and don't go with stock junk. Have you ever flushed it or at the least changed the fluid and filter?

yup it's toast, could be a number of reasons, od band usually the first to go, clutch packs, converter, any of the above, all of the above

look at getting a lentech, stock rebuild is expensive and sux

I would assume that he would be smart enough to check that without saying anything.
