Im looking to paint the car this summer and was wondering how much paint would be for a gallon and how much for primer. I am going to do all the body work and painting my self. So how much would a gal of paint and primer be from a average paint shop off the internet?

depends on what kinda paint u want bc/cc or single stage the nason line from dupont is a killer deal and so is the omni(there changing over to what is called shop line) from ppg is good personally i like the nason 2k select primer more than the ppg and for the clear id go omni/shop line get the one that reduces 2:1 not the 4:1 but for all the material ur gonna need figure right around 500$ with he primer paper tape wax and grease remover lacquer thinner and paint etc and about 150$ less if u go single stage or if u wanna go all out i recommend r+m from basf its a very nice its basf mid line but it will increase the cost by a significant margin
