Default will I need a tune?

After my compression tests, etc. I have come to the comclusion I am going to pull my heads. I have a 1994 5.0. I was going to get reman e7's but I am looking into gt40's I dont want the gt40p's cause of the header thing. But If i do get the gt40's will I need to have my car retuned? I know the 94-95's dont like alot of modifications on the stock ecu! Thanks guys

Honestly, I can't say for sure.

Yes the sn95 5.0's do seem more finicky than the foxes, but that is a tough prediction to make.

Is this the only mod?
Do you have a cam?
MAF/Injectors?

If the gt40p's are the only thing your changing on an otherwise stock engine you'll be fine, provided your still running the factory stock tune. The flow difference from the heads alone will not be enough to cause you problems. But as vristang pointed out its a tough one to call until we know what other changes have been made to your engine.
