what to expect?
hey guys.
i guess i'm into mustangs(ive got two)but i wouldn't call myself a fanatic. anyways, i'm more concerned with my other car. (i wont say which for fear of being ridiculed). i think i've decided to sell the mustang i don't really use all that often. it just sits around and i hate to see it go to waste like that. the cars in pretty good shape. NEVER died on me for the 30k or so miles i've put on it, and the original owner before me said the same. i know 5.0's are wanted because they make excellent drag cars and are good for people wanting to mod them up, but what about a convertible? would that stop alot of people from buying the car or make it sell for less because of aerodynamics and all that junk? the car is an entirely stock '92 5.0 convertible with 110kmiles.originally was white, but i had it painted dark blue. the top is fairly new, but the tint and the weatherstripping needs to be redone. should i redo this myself and then sell it, or just sell it as is? and what do you expect this car to sell for also? thanks!

RE: what to expect?
Im guessing that you posted some pics but I cant view them from my computer at work. Anyway, what kind of condition is it it? Paint? Interior? mechanically? etc. Location always plays a role too. There are some people who love verts and some people who hate them. I dont think you will have a hard time selling it for 3.5K if its in good condition. May even be able to get more for it depending on the buyer. It all depends on how bad someone wants it lol Alot of people drool over stock/unmolested cars (like myself). I paid 5K fora 93 GT w/84K on it... just becuase it was stock. I could of gotten something with tons of work already into it, etc. for the same price but some people dont want that.

looks really clean. I paid $5,400 for my 100% stock '93 GT w/82,000 miles on it. location does play a big role on how much you could get for it. best thing to do is search the classifieds for similar cars with similar mileage & condition in your area. http://www.traderonline.com would be a good place to start.

TTT
sorry for the weird scrolling.
but the interior is in decent shape. some cracks in the leather, but no big ones, and no tears
the back panels on the inside are a little loose, but this could easily be fixed i think.

Your stang looks in good shape. I sold my 91 LX 5.0 Convert. back in 1999. It took me awhile to sell it but I got what I wanted for it.
