Signs of fuel starvation

Signs of fuel starvation
I know of some but just want to hear it from others. Around 2000RPM+ my car bogs really bad on some days and others its ok. How bad? Well lets just say I have a 0-60 in 10 secs 5.0mustang.
I don't know if it runs hot because of being lean because I have a coolant leak and have lots of air in my lines...causing spikes in the Tstat reading. So I can't judge by that. I also don't have any guages for monitoring my engine (a nono I know)
I am rulling on a fuel pump failure under load...but money is tight and don't want to purchase something that I didn't have to have at the moment.
Any ideas?

You can buy a cheap fuel pres gauge from the auto parts store and screw it on to the shrader valve and see what it is doing!

Haven't pulled the plugs, but will soon now that you mention it.

RE: Signs of fuel starvation
It looks just like the valve that you put air in your tires with. Its on the fuel line where it drops down from the intake. If your looking at the motor it will be on the front left. It may have a black cap on it. Just unscrew the cap.
