2.581 60'
was at the track last night and was cutting 2.5 60fts....... I was maxing out my stock converter at 1500rpm from the launch. I still have the stock 273 gears...
I did however beat a mr2 which made me a little more happy .
So what should I do? gears will help my 60' right? I want to do gears, shift kit, tourqe converter, 100shot. In that order

Were you spinning off the line or with the gearing+power you simply can't cut a better 60'?
I know 4.6s and 5.0s are a lot different but +1 on the 4.10s and DRs. Those made a huge difference for me. That combined with "better driving skill" helped me cut 0.7 seconds off my 1/8th mile back when compared to my stock run.

I simply couldn't cut a better time. 2000rpm sucks for my car, once it gets to 2700 it has nice power but from 1500-2500 I feel like i'm in a coma.

It's going to feel that way until you get a nice custom built torque converter, get one from these guys http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/ . You'll love it! Feels like you added another 100 ft. lbs of tq.

If you do anything, get your tranny cooler first, anddo the gears before you do the stall. 2.73's, 3.08's, and 3.27's equal major heat build up when you're in first and second gear (before the converter locks in third gear). You will want 3.90'sor(numerically) higherso you're not in your stall range that long when you're just out crusing.

I was looking at trans coolers, I see that they range from $50-$250. I was just wondering if the expensive one with the fan is worth the extra money. (I don't mind spending it, just wondering if it's worth it)
