Just like it says.. I have ford racing headers, o/r x-pipe, AND flowmaster 10 series (race muffler, single chamber). Some stangs shake the ground with less mods than I have... why is mine not even that loud? I went from a 40 series flow to a 10, and the sound hardly increased at all. The muffler shop could hardly believe it wasnt louder with everything I have done to it. At idle, you can hear it, but its not loud by any means.. and at WOT, it's louder, but not a whole lot.
Would putting dumps on it make it much louder?
Any ideas of why it isn't louder??

My hearing is very good..
It's not that, I have heard from MANY people, especially 5.0 owners ,that it SHOULD be much louder than it is now..

Intake and heads have as much to do with the sound
as the exhaust
If you put high flowing heads and intake on
you would notice a huge difference

Stock cam...
If you look at the flowmaster 10 series, its only 6" long, its offset/offset and pretty much nothin in there at all.. they say its very very close to straight pipes, minus the popping of straight pipes...
I just finished putting in the 10 series yesterday, so Im not gonna switch to SLP soon for $$$ reasons. I hope dumps do make it louder!!!
