The mechanical or electrical part?

not sure what its called but the part the key goes into. you can move it freely without the key and it will give power and such to the car so i need that switched. i already replaced the part where the wires go into, which i guess would be electrical.

Remove the plastic covering on the column. Turn the key to the on position. Look under where the lock cylinder goes into the column. There will be a lil pin sticking down through the column. Push the pin upward, remove the lock cylinder. Install in reverse. The lock cylinder MUST be in the on (not run)position for the the pin to depress.
