what else do i need to change in the rear end if i get 31 splines..not suspension wise but to make them fit

You don't want an open differencial, you want a trak lok. Get a used one or you can buy a new one fairly cheap as well. http://blueovalindustries.bluekeyinc...p?pid=99012821

You'll need new carrier bearings, some fluid, some friction modifier and the axles of course.

to install 31 spline axles, you need the axles (duh), new axle bearings, new axle seals, new 31 spline carrier, and a full re-installation for a gearset.

I always recommend holding off on installing gears if you plan on installing 31 spline axles in the future, and do it all at once.... Do it right, the first time!
