i put a b&m mega shifter (ratchet style like the pro) in my 69 charger and a pro ratchet in my friends 67 fastback. I likethem a lot better than a standard or gate shifter with the automatics. I imagine that they would feel the same in a late model mustang. They one thing to remember is shield they cable very well and stay as far away from heat (mostly header/exhaust) as possible!! I can't stress that point enough, a brittle cable will **** your day up.

Thanks for the advice, I'm just wondering in the world am i going to get that shifter base into my car without having to remake the entire center console. sn-95s are such a cramped car.
