burning oil... i think

Default burning oil... i think

when ever i hammer on the gas theres a cloud behind me. Im pretty sure its burning. It only does it when i floor it tho. What could this be?

my friend had a very...how you say...high mile longblock. maybe in the neighborhood of 300k miles. well lets just say same symptoms. normal cruisin, no smoke really, but if you get on it, that bitch will throw a nasty cloud and it will smell bad. i believe it was due to bad rings.

its usually the rings when it smokes under load, well if the smoke is blue

check the spark plugs back of the engine, if black and oily well your screwed but if it is carbon you can adjust out your spark gap, or reduce your fuel mixture running a little lean will allow the plugs to get to proper tempature.
