Need some opinions
 

Ok here's what i got. I'm about to do an HCI swap (i know, do it in the winter, but i'm excited and i want the hp now). I realize that i'm gonna have to take the motor apart pretty much down to the block...I'm thinking about stroking it out. I saw that they have 331 and 347 kits on e-bay, is this all i need. CanI do it myself or should i get someone that has already done it? bad idea? Any opinions would be great and anyone who wants to tear my idea apart feel free

no offense to you...but if ya never have done one...bring it somewhere....unless you have someone to walk ya through it....

Also, you were just gonna do H/C/I and now your talking about stroking the motor-big job. I would say wait for winter. If you can't, just to the H/C/I for now and then hit the block this winter (you'll also have more experience by then). Good Luck

I try to keep it cheap lol anyone know how much it might cost to get it stroked out to a 331 or 347IF i took everything off beforehand. I didnt wanna have to take it apart twice if not necessary
