I have Twisted Wedge heads on 2 of my current cars.

The hatch is a 327" Dart stroker with a Performer RPM EFI intake and 13psi from a Novi 2000. The cam was a mild hyd. roller (.544/.576 224/230 114). It made 602rwhp on a stock A9P through an AOD on 93 octane at 5700rpm. The a/f was off the chart rich (below 10:1) from 3200rpm up. The header gasket blew and they lost the a/f reading and shut it down. It hadn't peaked yet. Mike Murillo seemed to think by correcting the a/f it had 640-650rwhp potential all on pump gas with the AOD. This is the car I drove to work. It went 10.4x on radials (1.80 60')and 91 octane the way I drove it to work. It is a heavy 100% street car.

The coupe is a 393W with a Vic. Jr. and 750 Holley. It runs 9.8x with a 150 shot.

my77stang is right, the R heads are for serious boost or compression and wouldn't idle to well for street stangs. If you want to go over 600rwhp get the R heads, or you could purchase the standard Twisted Wedge (sounds wierd calling them standard) and have them worked over. They sound so good you'll be very happy with either. You can get an easy 350 HP with the right cam and intake, and rocker settings.

We used the wholeTrick Flowpackage, which is great and it's all matched to work together.

check out our little project at www.ckscompany.com/mustang.htm -ENTER THE WHOLE LINK, you have to wait - the pics are huge and it takes a minute to load. We just started the beast yesterday and it was 10pm - it had to wake everyone up!!! More pics added soon.

Your neighbors are grannies. I started mine at 3:30am, open headers Then again they already hate me... Not my problem!
