Well dude correct me if i am wrong but... Cava z24s were 2.4DOHC same engine in my alero... right?
the Cobalt S/C is a 2.0 Ecotec engine, different engines, thier ecotecs take well to boost, love it... And these cars just like the SRT-4 were sorely underated, just like plenty of other cars that are sorely underrated. And yes GM sells a stage II kit as does Mopar sell a stage II kit for the srt-4 is it so hard to beleive?

Now that is absolutly amazing.... According to Car and DriverThe cobalt is only rated at 205 HP stock, and it GAINS 15 HP through the drivetrain? Wow GM finally did something right... and GM didnt make a stage 2 kit... You buy the new pulley online and take it to your dealer for $80 and get a computer reflash.

My daily driver is a 1996 Cavlier Z24 supercharged (gayest thing I ever did in my short life) The car stock was rated at 150 horse/150 Tq and this charger was a 50hp bolt on, at the dyno I layed down 173.4WHP/178.3WTq and the crap I had to go through to get this charger to work on my car was rediculous, it ended up costing close to 4,000 (ECU, Starter, Pistons, Rods,Injectors, etc)and that was all the HP I got. So I bought a Mustang and lived happily ever after.

Alot of your are poorly misinforming this guy... SCed 2.0s from GM are nasty, stock they typically put down 220fwhp, from a dig you can rip him with a good launch if he can't drive from a dig, from what i understand the cars suffer from terrible wheel hop, if he does have the stageII gm kit he is prob pushing 250-260 fwhp and teh car weighs about 2900lbsdry... foxs see what? 185-190 stock if their lucky...

Its not gonna be as easily as everyone says, you should rip him out o fhte hole but by middle of second expect to see him creeping up on you...fast
