Default Gauges

Most of the gauges in my car dont work/are messed up. They are all the factory gauges, except for the tach. For the speedometer, I would like to get an electronic one instead of having to deal with changing the gear and all that mechinal stuff. I would like to change out all of the dash gauges for different ones, like autometers. I want to try and follow the same theme with them, so it looks clean. I want to use the factory dash though, but just change out all the gauges in it. Is this possible to do? I have the 86 style dash, so its not the newer 87-93 style. I've been looking around on autometer, but I would like some opinions on electrical speedometers and aftermarket gauges in general. Thanks in advance.
