Default Heads.

I'm thinkin about saving up for some heads. I hear great things about afr's, but are they really worth the like 1300$ price tag? I saw once on a magazine article they got some 100hp over stock just putting some afrs on I think, or it might have been trick flow I don't know, is it possible to get that kind of power out? What size heads and from what company would go the best with my current mods? This car is my daily driver.

Also, if you could give me an idea for price on whatever heads you think are best that'd be great.

and I know you guys hate these " how much power will I make?" questions, but if I threw on whatever heads would match best, what do you think that would put me at?

I would say to go with the Trickflows since you already have the cam and intake and that stuff is designed to work together.

I went with AFR's though. I paid $1400 for a set with upgraded springs. Since theyre not on yet I dont know what kind of increase Im looking at.

Try the search feature This topic has been beaten to death, so there's plenty of good info out there. Just search for Trick Flow AFR or something like that

Default RE: Heads.

any of the major aftermarket heads when chosen correctly will give much the same gains...bolting on a set of TW/AfR/Eddy heads will net you around 50 to the wheels over stock..alot will depend on supporting mods and how they work in terms of their power range with the heads you've selected...boltons,maf, intake, cam, exhaust, fuel delivery, general tune...alot of variables involved in determining what you will 'end up' with. Magazine and vendor claims should be taken with a grain of salt...mags need the vendor support and often will create 'situations' where the degree of success is...um exceptional and most often not typical.
