just put in a king cobra clutch, jw wondering how long i should wait for it to break in so i dont mess any thing up, thx

got about 500 miles of stop and go and some hard accelerating is ideal but you could say **** it and hammer it

i c. thats gonna be tuff haha its hard to resist. also how low should the engagement point be? i have it just a little above the pedal all the way down, is that right or what is ideal?

Not sure about King Cobra but centerforce recommends 500 miles of EASY driving

i should of went king cobra prolly, my centerforce didnt last 6 month... maybe because i didnt break it in though lol

buddy of mine broke his in for 250 then gave it hell, and the clutch is working fine

I like the clutch to release up high as far as the pedal movement goes. that way you don't have to press it down so far all the time and it has room to move down toward the floor as the clutch wears. I think about 500 miles of normal easy driving should be enough to break in the clutch too. Just don't let it slip a lot during break in.
