Default 331 stroker hp gains

how much power gains would there be with a 331 strokerover a 306 with forged rods and pistons also with a scat 331 stroker with
i beam rods will you have to notch the block. i want the car to be as dependable as a daily driver and i want it to be fast.

No you don't have to notch the block. I didn't for mine anyway. Buying good rods is a great idea but don't waste your money in a steel crank, the block will give up before the crank. I'm not sure how much more power you will get it depends on alot of things like cylinder head size, camshaft, and intake choice. I would staywith 185 cc heads or less for a daily driver. My combination runs in the 11s and I could drive it everyday. I get about 12-13 mpgwith it and can drive anywhere with the cold air blowing.

same here, i love me a nasty na motor.... but there is something about bolting on a turbo and running 7-9 psi and have 400 hp out of a completely stock motor oil pan to upper intake.

i'm gonna have sometfs twisted wedge heads and tfs street intake and tfs stage 1 cam i'm just unsure about what to do with the bottom a 306 with forged piston and rods scat kit or 331 scat kit. I was told about the notched block but i wasn't sure this is my first build and i want to be fast with a dependable car.
