Great job, but I don't understand going through all that work to pull the motor, rebuild it, then not take a couple more hours, mask it off and shoot it with a fresh coat of high temp paint. It just doesn't seem right putting it back in "raw". Every time I've taken a motor out of a car, I've painted it and at least wiped down the engine compartment before reinstalling.

Looks good! The only thing i would make sure not to do is use that fram oil filter. The filter that they use is about 5ft shorter than napa/wix filters when it is all unrolled. Just thought I would help saving you from doing this rebuild again.

Fram filters are ok. I have umm on both my cars/truck if you change every 3k then it realy dont matter. since older cars stated 7k between oil changes. In 3k miles it realy dont matter. Unless you strail all out ***** to the wall floor it track style. LOL every day driveing and toying fram aint a bad choice. Plus i thinnk there are only 3 major oil filter builders they just stamp who evers name on it lol.
