An intake isn't going to do crap for you without getting new heads. The heads are your bottle neck. Save up the money and do an H/C/I.

a buddy of mine got a cam and intake and got 22 more rwhp in his 5.0 wit stock e7s... i hada carbed 302 set up and did a cam, intake cwap gained 35 hp at fly...
heads are very important, butto say just a cam, intake wont cutt it,isnt true..it varies from motor to motor.. the BBK is coolest looking i think but not real good,in all shoot outs,in all the mags, edelbrock kas best intakes the rpm is sweet...next is usually tfs,or holley///but edelbrock always wins.. engine masters, car craft, hot rod,all say same

i would wait and do it all at once H/C/I you should have them port matched anyway.. unless you like tearing motors down all the time

You can get the trick flow street intake for $400, and get a 70mm throttle body, then you will have it and ready to go when you get heads. You will have a small gain in horsepower but when you save up for some heads you will already have the intake and throttle body

why not do it all at once and get a one big power increase rather than having to take apart the engine a bunch for a little increase... the most hp increase seperatly will prob be heads
