Default took her out today!

My car has been stored since November and today I took it out. First stop was to the local Holiday for some air and gas. Then after that I hit the on ramp with the pedal to the floor. damn it felt good. cause you see, i've been driving a damn 2.9 ranger for 5 months and I can barely get to highway speed on this ramp. The Stang gets there real quick. I told myself that I will never drive anything smaller than a v8 today!

btw i live outside the twin cities where the winters are loooong.

man i cant wait to drive my baby. everyday i get home from work i dont even go inside i just start her up waiting for my new plates to come in. i was on the high way with my dad driving home from maine in a rental impala and i floored it on the onramp. i looked at him and said if that was my car we would be going twice as fast as everyone else right now. i love that feeling of getting to speed and then some before you even get off the on ramp

Yea, same here. I havent driven my car in a LONNNNNG time. I got in in, started it up (great feeling lol), let her idle for a few and than took off. I LITERALLY got to the end of my street and it started POURING rain. So I turned around and got into my DD. What a tease!

Got my stang all cleaned up. Been under the cover since November. I had to put a battery in it today and now it starts right up. Going on a cruise tomorrow.

my stang always feels very fast after not driving it for a while. i guess you just get used to the performance and it starts to feel slow, till you haven't been able to drive it for some time.

92 Mustang GT. I just pulled mine out yesterday and took a nice little 50mile ride. I got it at the end of last summer and got a whole bunch of parts sitting in my garage. I live in WI and the car came from Cal. Everything is stock so I get to do whatever I want. Going to be a fun summer.
