If you left the washer in the balancer there ain't no way it's coming off, in one piece anyway. The threads will be fine I've done it countless times.

put car in gear or park with wheels on ground and park brake on, then use a breakerbar or 1\2 ratchet... also chalk wheels for saftey

Old timers trick, put a penny on the end of the crank, it will protect the crank from the hard steel of the puller.

I used an impact and got mine off in seconds If you plan on doing work on your car theres no reason not to invest $300 bucks into some compressor/air tools set from HD. Best $300 I EVER spent.
$300?! wtf did you buy? My bro and I spent like $800 on our setup for everything. Still easily worth it though and I think we got some pretty good chit
