i would not say its the same. But it is a pretty good intake. For 200 bucks i dunno. My friend has one and does ok! Try and get it for 150 bucks if you can. You could buy a typhoon brand new for 289. E bay.

5.0 Cobra intakes are rated at the exact same flow rate as GT-40's so, yes its good. Lots of people with stock Cobra heads and Intake can get into the 11's without any trouble. Its all about the total package though.

so my 95Gt with GT40P heads, longtube headers, Cobra Intake, ford E racing cam, 3.73 gears, K&N CAI kit and 70 throttle body, flowmasters and a **** kit should push how much hp and run in the ballpark range of what? I know these questions are noobish and hard to answer but...ya know

I was thinking mabye 280hp running a 14.0-14.5

your hoping mid to low 14s with those mods? if you cant get that stock just sell your car and get a new hobby. this is serious, with your mods if you cant alteast get a mid 13 just give up. stock stangs with good tires can hit 13s with ease
