Default Opinions on these stroker kits

Ok so I'm in the market for a 408w stroker kit, and was wondering which i should go for. I have two main choices, and a possible third.
http://www.fordstrokers.com/index.ph...product_id=122
Here is the first. The only problem i have with this one is the price. I know it could be a lot more, but the next one i will list is 700 dollars cheaper, and i cant find many differences. The main one is that the crankshaft isnt forged, but im sure theres more.

This kit is the second one im looking at. Is it really that bad of a kit? IM looking to be putting out at least 500 hp, so will it be able to hold up? Just wondering. Is it worth the extra 700 bucks to buy the other kit?
And finally, i've been looking into some SCAT all forged kits. Do any of you have opinions on those? If so please share any advice. Thanks for all of the help.

even the cheap kit gives you a steel crank and forged rods. your fine with 500 HP, hell i have over 400 on stock 302 rods/crank and no problems.

i'd go for the cheaper one, and ask them which rings they are giving - and upgrading them if you can. speed-pro plasma molys are great rings, so theres a direction to look at. also check out federal mogul CH series bearings, they are better than the standard clevite 77's and standard federal moguls.

no problem. are you going to run this n/a or are you spraying/boosting? with those cubes you shouldnt really need the extra ( i like making power the good ol fashioned way)

N/A, im looking to just have a bad *** motor. A n/a motor that makes 500 hp just does something for me that i cant really explain. Its almost like getting a wood.

Oh sorry, here is my planned set up:

AFR 205's
Vic Jr Intake
Barry Grant Demon 750 cfm carb
Custom Cam

I just recently ordered the 205's and am looking around for the vic jr, which hopefully ill be able to find used, but relatively new. Other than that all i need is my stroker kit, and machine work, plus all of the little extras.

EDIT: I forgot to mention all of this is going a a 1994 351w block out of an f series truck. So it is a roller style block.

Does anyone else have any opinions or advice?? Im just trying to make an educated decision, i know you get what you pay for, but is it really worth the 700 extra dollars? I can think of a lot i can buy wiht that money. I definately want it to be safe and dont want to worry about breaking anything, but i dont know exactly how safe i need it with my power goals. Thanks for any advice.

FullAuto will hook you up with a Scat stroker kit! He's a dealer and he'll beat anyone's prices, shoot him a PM and see what he says.

that looks like your onto a pretty mean setup. have you considered the aussie cleveland style aluminum heads? they are even better than the AFR's
