i have a 306 EFI. With many mods. The LX was a 4 cylinder converted into a V8. I set the distributor and started it up. When I give the car gas it revs high and seems as if the motor is serging. The computer that is in it is for a 5 speed manual tran and i have a atomatic tran could that be the problem. Cant figure it out please help.

is it a MAF conversion, or are you running a speed density system... Did you bother getting the car chipped for the 30# injectors that your running which are WAY too big for your combo?

yea its a mass air, I actually live across the street from this guy, no its not chipped for the 30's ive already told him that the are alittle big for his setup but he wont listen. I pretty sure tho that he computer isnt whats causing the problem unless its deffective but I would still insist that he gets one for an auto. I hope someone here can help him b/c I would really like to see this damn thing move its a good looking car
