Default more noob cam questions

Im putting in the e303 and trickflow manifold.
what springs would be good for the setup?
1.7 or 1.6 rockers?
and are all timing chains created equal?

im curious if anyone on here has ever used the 1.7's on the ex and 1.6 on the intake to obtain a dual pattern setup.

no, all timing chains are NOT created equal. you should be spending between 50 and 75 bucks for a decent TRUE double roller timing chain.

not sure about part numbers for the springs, but i would think with an E cam you'd want around 120 lbs of seat pressure.

I read and article on that actually, said that a full set of 1.7s doesnt do anything for the engine, but when you mixmatch them it does give a gain in hp, its just weird though, that and read also you need to make sure when you run 1.7s that you have the correct length pushrods.......
