what is the round metal thing that is over the bolt on the back, passenger side of the upper intake manifold (stock)..is it some sort of ground? do I need it? and how the heck do you get it off to gain access to the bolt???

Bolt on the back passenger side of the intake manifold?
There a vacuum line going to it?
Try and explain where it is a little better...

i got it....im trying to get the upper plenum off to change the valve cover gaskets...and the one bolt on it had an extra step to get it undone...almost like a metal bar that connects lower to uppper intake in the back?
