what would give better 60' times M/T ET Street or the M/T ET street Radial?they are both Dot approved. I cant decide between the two. Which will wear down faster?

the ET Street is almost like a slick.
the radial is just that
basically like the current tires you have on there, but better for highway driving and a much stiffer sidewall.
Also, they can be heated like the ET Street to get better traction.

To answer your questions

The ET Street is a MUCH stickier tire, but the Radial will last longer.

here is what i found..this was on my s10..with a 350 in it...my 60ft times was -1.85 1.90's..on full mt slicks..so i changed to the mt et streets so i could drive it out to the track...it did the exact same...afetr i wore them out my friend gave me a set of the mt radials..thy worked ok..but i had to really heat them up..and the 60ft's went to around 2.00-2.05..they just never seemed to be the same.....but at the same time i see cars running 10's on them...so i think it just raeally depends on your set up...a slick or radial will act diffewrent on a different car

How long did they last?
Is there another tire like the M/T ET street, almost slicks, that dont require tubes? Should I get tubes. people say the tubes will make the side wall last longer, but if the tire wears down before the sidewalls get weak, whats the point of tubes?Im getting a street slick for me to drive pretty much only city, to and from school which is 5 miles, away and around town. How long will they last, ill probally go to the track every month or so. Do they tires need to be heated? or can I just do a chirp to clean them off?

hoosier quick times dont need tubes. i seen 1.49 60's before with MT streets. i seen 1.5 60' with bfg DRs. any of these tires arent really for DD. so why worry about mileage

a short burnout is all that's needed on most street slicks. why don't you just get some used wheels and install some true slicks on them and drive to the track on your street tires and change to the slicks after you get to the track? I did this for several years and had the best of both worlds, slicks at the strip and regular street tires on the street.
