Default Smokin cats!!

I've had my car off the road for the last few months during winter and one of my winter projects was to changed computers from the automatic (A9P) to the manual (A9L)...my car was converted from auto to manual years ago just never changed computers, so I charged up the battery today and she fired right up but the catalytic converters were smoking like crazy!!! Now I usually run an off-road pipe but the cats were still on from my last emissions test. Do you think something is wrong...or do you think the car was just running super rich while it was re-learning codes and thats why the cats were smokin that bad? Your thoughts please. Thanks

Bump

Anyone?

It also might be just moisture built up in the exhaust system from sitting so long, but it seems thats the least of my problems right now. I also noticed what appears to be the rear main seal leaking like a sive! I guess it dried out from sitting so long too [:@]

How are you so sure that it's your cats and not something coming from your engine? Yank the midpipe and run open headers for a bit, see if you're still getting smoke.

Oh I know it was the Cats smokin, I could see the smoke coming off those badboys when I knelt down and looked under the car, it was getting so bad it started coming up through the hole for the shifter, freaked me out a bit.
