weld draglite question

gotta question, i have a set of draglites that i am trying to put on my car and the wheel studs are not long enough for the lugnuts. do i need new wheel studs or the lugnuts that recess into the rim? the car is on a jack now.

RE: weld draglite question

thanks guys, i got the shank nuts and those work but now i have gotten them on (3 out of 4) and i needed to move the car just a few feet and it feels like something is bound. i put it in gear and it feels like the e brake is on. i dont want to try to move it incase something is not right. is it normal for the studs to not stick out past the rim at all? the rims are 41/2 " backspacing ( so i was told) i know the norm is 51/2 but i have heard of plenty of people useing 41/2. any thoughts are appreciated.

if you jack the car up can you turn the wheels by hand?

thats what i thought and everything seemed fine putting them on but when i went to move it almost felt like something was behind my wheel so i got out to make sure and there was nothing there. so i tried it again and the same thing. i just dont know what could be holding it up. like i said i dont want to give to much gasand brake something if it is bound for some reason.

So the issue is on the front. Is the rim hitting the caliper?
