that would be a big job. i am sure a 5 speed is more fun to drive, but will it be worth it? Its only gona cost me for the parts like i said, but i just want some more opinions on the auto/manual topic. If it seems like i should swap it, its gonne be the first thing i do. Thx.

i love my 5 speed. Nothing like having power more controlled then a manual. Being able to hit your shift points and do nasty burnouts. I searched all over to get a manual and that is the only way i would have it in a mustang. I think the autos are for everyday cars such as regular cars. Thats just my opinion.

id have to agree with 88gt. i love mt 5spd to BUT i dont think its worth swaping over to a manual. ive known a lot of people that have had 5spds and converted to auto juss so they can have better launches and get more tractions. dude trust me, a good shift kit in there a nice stall converter will make u juss a quick if not quicker then us 5spds

I love my 5 speed too, but the first chance ($$$) I get, I am going with a C4 and a nice stall. When I start running this thing, consistency is going to be the name of the game, and an auto is far more consistent. I have seen people drop .2-.4 off quarter mile times by switching to a strong auto/stall combo.
