Default cam installation

anyone know how much a place would charge to install a cam???i was goin to just wait till i can afford heads and have them put on at the same time but that will be like in a year

way to be just as useless and say absolutely nothing.

it costs 40 bucks, for intake gaskets and coolant and a timing chain cover. seriously look into doing it yourself. go buy a hayes or chilton's manual on mustangs. also look online, it's called a search. easy to do. you can borrow the tools like a balancer remover from autozone. if you have problems along the way, just post em on here and it'll be answered.

You won't notice as much of an increase if you just stick the cam in with stock heads, but at the same time, if you have the cam, theres no real reason to wait... Its not complicated, just somewhat time consuming if you have never done it because of the extra care you give trying not to mess anything up... You'll get a lot more satisfaction out of your own work... Good luck
