to me, old skool 5.0 are faster than the newer models. a type r turbo boosting 4 lbs=easy 13s.. if he riding on slick, ur gonna get spanked.. but who kares, if he smoke u, get out the car and beat his ***.. but trust me, u might need to take out all ur panels, seats, everything and race him.. get back to us about ur race</P>

Screw nitrous, get you a nice set of heads, intake, headers and full exhaust, or any of the other bolt-ons. If you beat him straight up you have something to brag about, nitrous to me is kind of fake horsepower. He'll just say "you only beat me cause of the nos". You dont want that, eat him up with raw power in my opinion.

If you read my post a little better this time, i never said it was cheating. And it doesnt make more sense at all. It isnt always on tap either. Here is a scenario for you, He puts a 100 shot of nitrous on his stang and races the type r and blows his doors off. A week later he pulls up to the type r again and his bottle is empty. Uh oh, he just got ate up and looks stupid.

Its different for the guy at the track to have nitrous, he will always make sure the bottle is full. But for the regular everyday driver who didnt have the extra 30 bucks to fill his bottle this week, it doesnt make sense. In no way am i trying to talk down on nitrous its just not the solution for this guy. I run a 150 shot at the track on my stang. But my car also runs 12.20's on motor alone. So im not losing to many races around town.

i agree nitrous should be left for people that already have all the general mods, it should be considerd as a final touch to a high powerd car. but if i was givin a nos set up for free i would hook it up <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">

Hey,</P>

I agree with 84STANG......screw the juice....juice is for the track not the street.........beat him with pure old fashioned horse power and torque</P>

</P>

save up your money an invest in a 429 cobra jet engine and drop it in your stang..........I would bet money you would smoke him....he will be asking you to see whats under your hood,,,,and swear that you are using nitro....</P><edited><editID>92GT STANG</editID><editDate>37871.4750810185</editDate></edited>
