Default Recommended Tire Pressure

Need some help from anyone that can. I just replaced the ten-hole 15" wheels on my '89 LX with the 16" star Pony wheels (with 225/55/16). The max pressure on the tire is 44 PSI. Can anyone advise what the door decal recommended tire pressure is for these? Thanks!!

Thanks, guys...I leveled them all to 35 when I got it from the shop today, not knowing what to do. I appreciate the help!! This is a great forum. I am hoping to start a complete reconditioning this summer, to adding the wheels was my first step to giving my car a "rebirth."

I'm going to be moving to the Greensboro, NC area in the next few months, so anyone in that area that might be able to give some advice would be great.

Later...

yea dont listen to that guy... do 30-35 all the way around... se how they wear... if the center is wearing but not the edges, less air is needed... if its the other way, use more...

for the SN95's ford reccomends 35 in the front and 32 in the rear, so subtract 200lbs or so and thats about 34-33 up front and 31-30 in the rear... but like dimebag said start at one place and see how the tires wear and then adjust them from there
