shifter stops or not?
Well I just bought an MGW shifter, and I know its going to come with stops, but the TKO has internal stops. Ive heard to remove the shifter ones, and Ive heard not too. Anyone care to share some more opinions

RE: shifter stops or not?
right since it has internal stops i would prolly go liek an exrta 1/2 turn just to make sure that the stops on the shifter don't interfer... but that way if sometihng in thetranny happends to give or something then it's like an extra step b4 the fork gets bent... cuz forks aren't cheap

i rock a t5, and my pro50 shifter, the front stop i use, and the back, i just have backed all the way out... only reason being, is that it gets to vibrating, and it moves forward, keeping me out of 2 4 and R. i just need to go buy some thread lock and put it right

Prime, I have internal stops as well and the MGW. I left mine in and just adjusted the shifter stops so they were just shy of touching. A lil extra insurance never hurts!!

RE: shifter stops or not?
thats the point i was trying to make, but u made it a little more clearly that i did...
and dime stops being a lazy as* and go get some thread lock it's like 2$ (just a guess) or put jus a lil RTV on it and that'll do the same thing and actualy prolly be easier to lossen if it needs to be done at any point in time
