Ohhhhhhhhh I see ....... I would of just baught new injectors and fuel pump. You could of had both for $200 or under if you looked in the right places and found good enough deals. Everyone on here is killing for a little increase in power and you are DECREASING. WTF is wrong w/ you ?!?

Even if I did go with the 351, I'd probably only get the Paxton Novi 1000 from my friend for $1k. I wouldn't want to dump too much money into it. Looknig to spend $5k - $6k max for a semi-decent junkyard strip car. Maybe I'll nitrous the hell out of it and try for Pinks! LoL.

But then my MAF was pegged so time for a new MAF. And then I'd be pushing the tranny to the limits. And of course I'd probably have to bump the TB to something bigger so it's not so restrictive. I know, it does seem weird to want to slightly lower HP...but look at it this way...

I lose a little HP in my DD convertible, but I can turn around and add those parts to a fox and gain even more HP and I won't have to worry about emissions, inspection, etc. Then I'll have to semi-decent cars. One that's the street sleeper and one thats ugly as hell, but packs a mean punch.

Or maybe I'll buy this one as a project car to start out with. Cant beat the price. he previously had it listed at $800. If it starts and runs and has no tranny issues, it would be a great strip car. A nice carbed 302 to work with. It's about a 5 min drive from where I live.

As long as the head bolts aren't torque to yield (such as the ones that came stock on the '93 Cobra) I'd hang on to them.

Well the SN95 looks great and is fast as hell! It wasn't fair to the fox owners that someone could have such a good looking car that performed so well when they were stuck with ugly cars that were meidocre at best. And me being a fair guy, I figured I'd step it back a few dozen notches to even it up a bit...thus the reason for looking into a strip fox.

Besides, I get tired of having to beat all the hot women off of me who are falling into and drolling all over my SN95 because it looks so good. I figured if there's anything that would change their minds and drive them away, it would bethe ugly-assfox body Mustang. [8D]

For $550 and the plans you have for it I'd be on that like white on rice. 351's are the same price as 347's
