It could just be me, but I swear I hear a very slight whistle when at idle. Can't figure out what it could be. Anyone here figure it out?

Here's a video where I tried to capture it. May be hard to hear the whistle in the video though as I sued a crappy quality camera.

sounds EXACTLY as my car did with my 65mm accufab t.b. i got it ported and it was fine.

No... I just never realized how loud it was. It had a decent little whistle last year when I got it... But I think it finally passed the break in period and now screams like a champ, lol. Kinda makes it hard to keep the car a sleeper though. Although it quiets right down around 2500 RPM.

sounds like you blower... my only other guess its a very small leak in the intake somewere... like one of hte silicone fitting bands isnt tight enough... with a blower and a small leak i can see it making a whislte like that u know... i dunno how the blower normally sounds tho so its just an idea... otherwise i say its just hte blower... i really dont think its that bad... kinda like it i think

Yeah, it's just the supercharger Actually, Pro50SC posted something very similar not too long ago. I think his Procharger was even louder than mine! I do love the sound of it though

lol who wouldnt... i mean i love that blower sound.. i dont car if its a twin screw, centrifugal or a turbo... they all strick fear into the enemies hearts lol

Sounds like your cam return bearings are out of alignment. You're not running a hydraulic crank, are you?
