Hey, I wanted to ask you. Do you have problems with your car being primered? Doesnt primer absorb? I have always wondered that I figured you would be the person to ask lol. Just wondering because I have my 88 Stang in my backyard with primered hood and fenders. Its under a tent but its halfway hanging out and it gets rained on all the time... what do you think?

a couple things to know...if you use primer with a sealer it will still rub out,but it won't wash out.
if it soaks then there was alot of fiberglass and porous metal that you applied it on..

Im really not familar with that you are talking about... the GEL coating. Is that the coating right over top of the fiberglass? (under the paint, etc.) If so, than yes its all still there, but some of it is not because I had to do alot of fiberglass work to the hood because it flew up on my Stang and cracked the cowl, took chips out of it, etc. I just got fiberglass resin and some fiberglass and patched it up, sanded it down and primered.
