bypass throttle body cooling??
Ok, I'm not too sure how to title this, but here's my question.
The water pump pumps water/coolant throughout the system to cool it down. There's this one little black hose that goes to the throttle body that runs water over the top of it to cool it down. Ford only did this for a few years and then ditched it because it didn't work. It didn't efficiently cool the throttle body, instead, all it did was significantly heat up the coolent that run through the rest of the system.
The obvious thing to do is to bypass this, but how exactly would I do that? I can't simply disconnect the tubes because then water will spew out of that whenever the engine is running. I have to plug everything up somehow. Do they sell kits for this by any chance??
Thanks.

RE: bypass throttle body cooling??
one it does work, but it doesnt cool it it helps to warm it up when cold. second to bypass it just plug up the ends. or just get a nipple and put it between the hoses. this feature is still done on many and i mean many rides. hell my 04 1kRR has it done, my 02 silverado has it
