Ok guys I have a 94 gt convertible and for the last week or so when I have driven the car it seemed to have a vibration problem and now it is getting worse. When it idles it vibrates like something is out of balance, and when it hits a certain speed when driving it does the same. I would say the U - joints but since it does it at idleit cant be that. Do you guys have any idea before i take this thing to a mechanic and get raped. Thanks in advance-

could be a missfire. with the engine running remove one plug wire at a time and see if the engine sound changes. if it does then that one is fine. if one of them does not change the sound of the engine you are missfiring :O

same thing is happening to me, i replaced the driveshaft w/ an aluminum one like the mech. told me to do but yea, wasnt it. I was thinkin that mine is the clutch b/c i know i need a new onebut hell, idk, i'm kinda new so i would be interested in what you guys determine.

How many miles is on your engine? It may be the harmonic balancer. I would also look at the fan for any broken blades.

hmm I did the spark plug trick already and same deal. How did u fix the harmonic balancer?

man dont through money at it till you check things out
one easy thing to do is pull the belt>>>belts ifmore than one .
If the vib is gone check all things that the belt moves>
if the vib is steel there then check the H.B. bolt make sure it is tight:> the outer ring:> and the pully bolts
that hild it on>>>> AND on AND on >
just check thinge first >It is free for youto check things >

alright, I some one, Told me it can be the fly wheel balance. They may have came off.
