Default Thinking of different exhaust

I am very aware of the new sticky above but just wanted actual opinions. I recently put on the SLP LM1 catback on my car. Love the way it sounds, its just to freakin loud. Dunno if its cause my cars been wrecked but seems like its rattling it apart. Cant even go on a date and be able to talk to the girl in the seat next to me without raising my voice significantly.

Anyways...I do plan on getting the mat-backed carpet soon and am aware it will help, but just thinking of switching. LM2 is out of the question, along with Flowmaster. Im thinking Borla or Bassani, just dont know which muffler. Any other suggestions would be great, sound clips would be great also...sticky above there is like 3 brands, SLP, MAC and Flow...MAC doesnt seem to bad and the price is good...

Just a question. Why not LM2 setup? It would only cost you like $150 bucks since all you would have to do is swap out the resonator for a LM2 muffler.

well i understand the money thing...Im not planning on spending another $400 on a catback, things are just bolted in Id buy the muffler alone. My car is so damn loud when i raced my buddy he said he couldnt even hear his radio with his windows up while i passed him. while having a lane in between us.

Is there a specific reason though that you do not want to go with the LM2 setup? It should quite your car down alot.

LoL No way! I have an LM1 setup right now also and I LOVE IT. But Im still running stock headers/mid pipe so thats prob why. Im sure when I put a full exhaust on I will be saying the same thing you are lol. The LM2 sounds pretty good though, its seems to be deeper than the LM1 and it tones the noise level down alot. Exterior and interior.

Mikey, I am running the 2 chamber flowmasters with a BBK H pipe, it is loud and deep when I get on it and when I go through the shifts, but cruising along it has just a light rumble. Not bad in the cockpit.
