Default Tremec Question....

My friend just bought a 90 LX notch....he was told it was bone stock minus the flowmasters......once he racked it at work...he saw Tremec on the side of the shift tower.....did Tremec made a factory tranny?

no problem, tremic bought out borgwarner in 97', and i think ford switched from borg tremic in 96 with the indroduction of the 4.6
