Default 4 cyclinder to 8 question

do you think a 99 yamaha banshee for a near mint condtion notch back 4cyl converted to an 8cyl with a borg warner tranny is a good deal. also is there any difference between the 4cyl and 8cyl other than then motor? are the rear ends different so only 1 wheel will spin. and if thats the case how do i make it a posi?

the 4 cycls came with 7.5 rear ends and the V8s came with 8.8 rear ends. Get the notch.

ok i have a v8 mustang now so should i switch the rea ends or is it no bid deal? also is it hard to switch the reear ends

Yes I would swap to an 8.8. It's not hard, plug and play for the most part.

Yeah, its pretty simple. Go ahead and put some more aggressive gears in the 8.8 rear before it goes in your car, you'll regret it if you don't. If its a daily driver, like mine, i'd probably go 3.73s.
