I'd like to see the et difference with regular radials on a mild set up.

Sure it will feel faster and it probably is but how many tenths is worth giving up your low rpm highway cruise rpm.

I have 3.73's and want to go a bit higher. Maybe 3.27's because my Mustang also gets me to work and back 5 day a week.

probably cheaper to get taller tires, like 28" drag radials, than to buy gears then pay to get them installed, it would put you in the middle of 3.55's and 3.27's

I have 3.73's and a 5 speed with a 255/40 (just over 25" tall) tire and I run about 2600 to 2800 RPMs at around 70 to 75. It is around 3100 RPMsat 85mph(where I drive mostly[8D])

I just took the car out today, filled it up with gas...I got 20mpg, and they weren't an easy 200 miles on that last tankeither.

I stil have the 2:73's with the stock size 15" tires, and I pretty happy so far. heck, I can burn em from a roll in 1st gear, so that is good for me.I have only had a mustang for a month, and even a 2:73 mustang feels like a rocket next to my 6000 pound superduty which has 4:10's.

You must do alot of highway driving, I do all city driving with 3.73s and get about 12 mpg, although the gears seem to possess my lead foot when I drive. But even with a light foot it made no difference.
