passenger door wont unlock at all, with switch or ***, and i cannot get it open, and i cannot seem to get the pannel off from the inside, any ideas? thanks

seems like your accumlator is bad. this is what locks and unlocks a power lock door. you will need to take off the panel to get to it. remove the few screws that holds it on then remove the large screws in the arm rest then slighty tug on the panel about every 5 inches to undo the push clips

real common problem happeneds to alot of mustangs take the top cap off for ur door lock button and grab the rod with a pair of vicegrips and pull up happends all the time to my car i greased it with white lituim grease and it works good now seems to only act up in the winter months,

alright i'll go do that right now, just that my lil pocket that holds stuff on the pannle, its old and streched, so its closed into the door, makes it hard to get those clips, but i'll give it a go, thanks alot

im havin a hell of a time trying to get the acuater out, is it a rivit? it looks ilke a plastic pop in on the side of the door, i got door open.... any ideas?
