i was on the way to the track and just normal driving my tach stoped working. well kinda it works untill about 2 grand and then just faceplants to 0. to me it seems like a ground is loose or something but i dont know were it is. the funny thing is when i put the 6a msd box on with the wiring harness from msd it worked fine but i had to take that off so now i drive around with a nonfuctional tach and thats also what i get to race on. i would just by a new autometer one but id rather just fix the problem before it shorts out and causes a potential fire. do you guys have any ideas

Is this a sporadic occurence? Or happens everytime? This just started when you took the MSD box off?

its all the time, and it did it befor the msd box

May need to take the tach out and see if the connections look fried, happened to me. a new tach was my only choice to fix mine. gl
